Hey guys! Glad to be here! I'm Chuck (aka: Chuck's_srt-4), in case you didn't already figure that out! Can't wait to see how this forum turns out.

I also can't wait to finally get my SRT all set up, and down the track with a built motor! Enough of this stock motor crap!

Currently I'm waiting on the bottom end fasteners (H11 studs from DCR) to show up, and once they arrive along with the 5-Layer head gasket, it's game on!

UNCORRECTED @ approx. 4300 ft. elevation! Done on 32 psi!

Normally stock rods don't bend like that. You got very lucky.

Yeah, I have only seen something like that is the engine was Hydrolocked.

Oh those were the days of F&F when everyone and their mother had to have "Cold Air" intakes.

I've seen it alot but mainly on billet rods

Yeah, I definitely got lucky with that one! And truth be told, the #3 rod is also bent, but is still in the motor, and I ran it that way for a couple of months before I could get my truck back on the road. In fact, I actually raced a bullet bike (Kawasaki 600 - not sure what model), and kept up pretty damn good for only being on 12 psi (around 300whp). And everything stayed in tact! That was the most surprising part of it all!

Nice! Any motor I've seen dish out 100+ pounds of boost is cool in my book. Great job Chuck.
