I am so freaking pissed, my Xbox 360 got the 3 lights, Ring of Death!!!!

Last night, and I just paid freaking $50 bucks to renew my Live account.

I was about to murder someone last night

Now I have to rip it apart and repair the damn heatsinks.

DAMN IT!!!

We sure did we even trimmed the compressor wheel vanes to clear the JB weld bead that we formed to provide an additional venturi effect, should be good for another 8 lb boost.

I like the way you used the weld beads to externally balance the wheel and provide the means to stabilize the air circulation at point of entry to the compressor, and that burn thru on one wheel is ingenious, the "turbo whine" it will induce will scare the crap out of anyone foolish enough to line up against you.
I HAVE got to have the prints for the Manifold It looks like it will flow like mad, and with my welding skills I can duplicate the "stealth" look of a botched weld job exactly with almost no effort at all. Great work man, great work.

Oh the reason Darrell has no idea what that Turbo of mass destruction is capable of is just that he does not have the technical expertise of forward thinkers like yourself.

my xbox 360 did that to me last month... go online and fill out a service request. register the xbox with xbox.com. i was out of my 12 month warranty, but since all the xbox's were deffective they extended it to three years. (ring of death) warranty only. i got a shipping label from them, all i had to do was buy a box and packing material from ups... 16 bucks worth. microsoft fixed it in a week and ups'd back to me. all shipping paid for except the box to put it in. i got another 1 year warranty against the ring of death, and they gave me a month of xbox live for free.

yea they pay for it because they know the thing is a piece of shit..i bought a new one about 2 years ago after my first one got the ring of death..gave the broken one to my sister and found out later about the free replacement...ohwell..

Update: Just Got my XBox back from Microsoft last Night.


Funny thing is I took a picture of my Xbox's Serial number and assembly date before I sent it off, I figured that they wouldn't sent the same one back.

I was Right!!

They sent me a New one unless it was retagged.

My Old
Serial was Ending 4706
Assembly Date: 9-07-07

New\Different Xbox I received
Serial was Ending 4707
Service Date: 10-05-09
-It said service so maybe it was a retagged but they had a date that was two weeks before they recieved it, meaning this is probaly a different xbox all together.

But I don't know if this is a new version or I just don't remember, but this SOB is loud as fuck!!

The Fan is Running it seems on high, and the CD-Rom clicks (Loading during gameplay) are way too loud.

Oh well I am just glad it got here before Modern Warfare 2.
