PostSubject: Project Freeze aka Iraq Racer!   Mon Sep 28, 2009 5:49 pm

Well I started this car near the end of winter. It's a 98 white Acr I got from a buddy a few years back. It had been sitting broke down in the yard for a while. I just decided it was time for me to build a serious fwd race car. I picked up a 2.6 from Darrell and had the pistons and rods swapped out to run boost. Here are a few pics of the transformation. 75mm throtle body


Also got my pro ratchet shifter, painless switch panel. My intercooler and radiator should be here today.

That is coming along very nice. Love how you are making the inside actually look nice. Ive seen many gutted cars with roll cages but they just leave the inside gutted and dirty looking. Keep us updated, especially with pics!

Thanks for the comments. Not sure but looking hard at BW s366. Going to the shop tonite to do some more fab work. I got the radiator mounted lastweek but didnt load pics up on photobucket yet. Still gotta finish the sheet metal work inside tho.
